Om zijn klanten nog betere diensten en de nieuwste technologie rond de ‘connected bike’ te kunnen aanbieden, zijn de fietsfabrikant VELO DE VILLE uit Noordrijn-Westfalen en de in Darmstadt gevestigde IoT Venture GmbH een samenwerking aangegaan. Zo wordt meer dan 60 jaar ervaring in de tweewielerbranche gecombineerd met de nieuwste technologie.<\/p>\n

Als merk van AT Zweirad GmbH biedt VELO DE VILLE zelfgebouwde fietsen en elektrische fietsen aan. Volgens het custom made principe wordt elk product individueel geconfigureerd en volgens gedetailleerde eisen van de klant en de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen in Duitsland gebouwd.<\/p>\n

Onder het handelsmerk IT’S MY BIKE en als een ge\u00efntegreerde white label-oplossing voor fabrikanten, verkoopt IoT Venture GmbH een smart device dat de e-bike met het internet verbindt en dat als belangrijkste functie heeft gestolen fietsen te lokaliseren en terug te vinden. Op basis hiervan hebben de twee bedrijven samen de app-gebaseerde oplossing ‘Velomate’ ontwikkeld. Zo kan de allround service van VELO DE VILLE voor klanten worden uitgebreid met een nog meer op maat gesneden, digitale service.<\/p>\n

De nadruk van de verdere ontwikkeling ligt op onderwerpen van het vakgebied ‘Predictive Maintenance’. Klanten profiteren van nieuwe diensten op het vlak van onderhoud en onderhoudsintervallen. De Velomate app dient als een digitaal servicecheckboek: het herinnert klanten aan komende check-ups op basis van het aantal afgelegde kilometers en maakt het eenvoudig om onderhoud en reparaties te documenteren. Rondom ‘Velomate’ plant VELO DE VILLE een digitaal ecosysteem dat klanten gedurende de hele customer journey meerwaarde biedt door gerichte informatie te verstrekken.<\/p>\n

“We zien onszelf als een custom made fabrikant, daarom willen we ook de voordelen van ‘Velomate’ precies afstemmen op onze klanten. De functies en technologie van IoT Venture voldoen precies aan de eisen die wij stellen aan onze klantgerichte app-dienst. Op deze basis kunnen we samen werken aan de verdere ontwikkeling van ‘Velomate'”, aldus Alain Thiemann, managing partner van VELO DE VILLE.<\/p>\n

Sinds de zomer van dit jaar maakt de GPS-oplossing ‘Velomate\u2019 integraal deel uit van de online configurator voor VELO DE VILLE fietsen. Op verzoek kunnen klanten hun online geconfigureerde elektrische fiets uitrusten met de ‘Velomate’ service met een looptijd van drie jaar.<\/p>\n

“We zijn blij dat we in VELO DE VILLE een partner hebben gevonden die samen met ons zijn diensten wil uitbreiden via continue serviceverkoop en zogenaamde data signatures”, zegt co-founder van IoT Venture GmbH Holger Trautmann.<\/p>\n
