Darmstadt, 17 November 2020. IT’S MY BIKE – een merk van IoT Venture GmbH – integreert vanaf nu het WayGuard noodhulpproces van AXA in zijn digitale servicewereld voor e-bikes. Dit betekent dat e-bikers met een\u00a0ge\u00efntegreerde IT’S MY BIKE GPS-tracker en geboekte servicefunctie voortaan bij een ongeval kunnen rekenen op snelle hulp op de juiste plaats.<\/p>\n

Een door DEKRA goedgekeurd ongevallendetectiesysteem activeert het WayGuard noodhulpproces bij een val. De WayGuard alarmcentrale is 24 uur per dag bereikbaar en waarschuwt de dichtstbijzijnde politie- en hulpdiensten in geval van nood. De servicefunctie is voorlopig alleen beschikbaar in Duitsland. Indien nodig kan het noodhulpproces ook handmatig worden geactiveerd.<\/p>\n

De optionele IT’S MY BIKE servicefunctie kost 1,99 euro per maand en kan maandelijks worden opgezegd. Om gebruikers de mogelijkheid te bieden de dienst vrijblijvend te testen, biedt IT’S MY BIKE een gratis proefabonnement van drie maanden aan. De dienst kan direct via de IT’S MY BIKE app worden geboekt en opgezegd.<\/p>\n

Met de noodhulpassistent (eCall) breidt IT’S MY BIKE zijn digitale servicewereld uit met een belangrijke nieuwe servicefunctie. \u201eeCall is voor ons vanaf het begin een feature dat ons na aan het hart ligt\u201c, zegt Thomas Ullmann, Chief Operating Officer bij IoT Venture GmbH, \u201eomdat het de veiligheid van fietsers in zekere mate verhoogt en zelfs levens kan redden. Daarom ben ik bijzonder blij dat we er nu concreet mee kunnen beginnen.\u201c<\/p>\n

Sinds de zomer van 2019 biedt het merk via gespecialiseerde fietsdealers GPS-trackers aan voor inbouw achteraf (adviesprijs: 199 euro inclusief drie jaar connectiviteit). Met deze oplossing kunnen gestolen fietsen worden teruggevonden (eProtect). Daarnaast kunnen gebruikers statistieken over het aantal afgelegde kilometers opvragen en de CO2-besparing berekenen (eRide). Eigenaars van een e-bike kunnen ook voor nog meer bescherming direct in de app een voordelige fietsdiefstalverzekering (eSurance) afsluiten. \u201eMet deze uitgebreide digitale servicefunctie is ons aanbod uniek\u201c, aldusJ\u00fcrgen Veith, Chief Executive Officer van IoT Venture GmbH. \u201eWe zijn blij dat we in AXA een ervaren en tegelijkertijd innovatieve partner hebben gevonden.\u201c<\/p>\n

WayGuard heeft zich ontwikkeld tot de toonaangevende begeleidingsapp in Duitsland. Ze heeft inmiddels meer dan 350.000 geregistreerde gebruikers. Zowel de WayGuard app (4,7 sterren) als de IT’S MY BIKE app (4,4 sterren) krijgen in de appstore een uitstekende beoordeling.<\/p>\n
